Midland's Light Opera Society is proud to present Gilbert and Sullivan's operetta Patience.The entire chorus of lovesick maidens has fallen under the spell of aesthetic poet Reginald Bunthorne (Roddey Smith) much to the chagrin of the Dragoon Guards to whom those selfsame lovesick maidens were engaged just last year! Bunthorne only has eyes for the village milkmaid Patience (Maria Beery) but she has sworn never to love and then there's a SECOND poet Archibald Grosvenor (Davis Herndon) and all manner of singing and comedy.The lovesick maidens (Kim Bray Michaela Brown Stefanie Brown Briah Clary Robin Dorfer Janice Mabrey Duna Miller Sabrina Palmer Ann Ruderman Elizabeth Shackley) are led by Lady Angela (Julie Lumpkin) Lady Jane (Evelyn Clary) Lady Saphyr (Abigail Greer Arcomona) and Lady Ella (Felicia Torres).The Dragoons are led by Abraham Hardy as the Colonel with Ben Palmer as the Major and Nikki Anderson as the Duke. David Brown Jerry Frazier Mark Foil Sid Smith Amy Thomasson William Thomasson and Steve Wrona are our Dragoons.This production is directed by Abigail Greer Arcomona Evelyn Clary and Roddey Smith musically directed and conducted by Dr. Michael T. Brown accompanied by Ashleigh Morse stage managed by Hollie Smith and costumed by Ruth Susan Scaccia with hair designs by Sabrina Palmer. Leighton Mount is choreographing a special pas de deux. Performances will be held at First Christian Church (2062 N.
