Full program description:

Kidical Mass explores the question of who streets are for, highlights the daily joys, and risks of commuting with kids, and shows what streets can look like when you create spaces for kids and families.

The Spirit Of Aloha – Rebuilding Community with West Maui's Bike Park takes audiences on a journey of recovery and resilience chronicling the construction of a bike park in West Maui as a resource to get kids on bikes, and help them recover from the impacts of the devastating wildfires in Maui in 2023.

Why We Ride centers on the experiences of the “Fens and Thems” riding group in Denver. The film celebrates the joy and belonging that comes from riding together, confronts the experiences of being minorities on the road, and also highlights the real challenges of urban commuting. Ultimately, it’s a celebration of meeting people where they are, and the solidarity that results from supportive communities.

Cycling Without Age is a film about the power of feeling the wind in your hair, no matter where you are on life’s journey. It follows John, a retired teacher, and his merry group of volunteers as they use pedal-powered rickshaws to give adventure and joy to those who have lost the ability to pedal themselves. Project Struggle Bus is an exploration of public transit in Columbia, Mo. and the challenges it faces. These challenges, while not unique to us, include driver shortages, lack of funding, and meeting community needs. The film highlights real experiences—long waits, limited routes, and the challenges of getting around without a car. Our goal is to show why transit matters and start a conversation about how to improve it.
