Koger Center and ColaJazz present: Live in the Lobby Jazz with Iliana Rose & Gino Castillo

Created as a partnership between the Koger Center for the Arts and the ColaJazz Foundation, Live in the Lobby 2025 will consist of seven concerts held throughout the Koger Center facility. Join us to experience this one-of-a-kind series designed for audiences seeking premier jazz and specialty experiences in an exceptional setting.

Iliana Rose is a talented musician, film composer, arranger, musical director, and band leader. Born in Miami and raised by Cuban parents and grandparents she is steeped in Cuban rhythms and culture. Being a genuine prodigy she started playing music at the age of four. After years of classical and jazz training, she graduated from the prestigious University of Miami as well as the National Piano Guild with performance degrees. Iliana moved to Los Angeles where she was the musical director for many of LA’s top bands spanning multiple genres. For several years, Iliana was the musical director and keyboardist on the nationally syndicated television show Noches Con Platanito.

Gino Castillo is a renowned Latin jazz musician and recording artist based in Charleston, SC. Born in Ecuador, and trained musically in Cuba, he brings authenticity and technicality to every performance. Gino Castillo’s musical talent has been heard on many albums and live shows, as he has collaborated with many international artists, such as: Earl Klugh, Al Turner, Michael Mossman, Quentin Baxter, Etienne Charles, Horacio el Negro Hernández, Oscarito Valdés, Eddie Venegas, Charleston Jazz Orchestra, and Charleston Smooth Jazz Orchestra.
