The festivities begin on Friday, June 19th, with our truck set up in the parking lot for a community pop-up from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Following an afternoon break, the celebration continues from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with an intimate and powerful conversation featuring Tayler to discuss her work. We invite you to spend the day immersed in local literature, honoring the legacy of Juneteenth, and celebrating both Tayler’s impactful poetry and her mission to prove that storytelling is a vital act of freedom.
