Darla Moore School of Business EXPO - Spring 2019


The Business EXPO is open to organizations who have either full-time and/or internship opportunities available for Business students only. 

If you are an employer looking to source early career business talent, and/or experienced graduate level business students, then attending our Business EXPO needs to be part of your recruiting strategy. These events are hosted each semester and typically attract over 130 employers from all sectors and over 1400 students from all business majors and programs.

Organizations are able to:


Learn about the Moore School degree programs

Meet our faculty and staff

Meet students in a career fair setting

Partner with the Office of Career Management and the Moore School

Conduct info sessions the day before or following EXPO

Interview students the following day


 


 

EXPO REGISTRATION (2-step process)

1.  EXPO registration for the event must be completed through Handshake 

(create a new account or log into your existing account, search fairs & register).

2.  Submit payment using the ORDER NOW button above. 

Due to limited space, 1 - 2 tables per company please.  Set up of items must be within your 6' x 2' tablespace to allow room for all company displays.

Cancellation policy: Should you and/or your organization need to cancel, we must receive your request in writing to ZGF3biAhIG1hcnNoYSB8IG1vb3JlICEgc2MgISBlZHU= no later than January 30, 2019. Due to expenses incurred, no refunds will be issued if requested after January 30, 2019 or after EXPO. 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:


Registration cost per table: $275-$1275

Postings:  postings should be in Handshake and approved no later than January 30

Registration deadline: January 30

Cancellation in writing: January 30 - should you need to cancel, please do so in writing to ZGF3biAhIG1hcnNoYSB8IG1vb3JlICEgc2MgISBlZHU= before January 30.

Shipments (send only to the Carolina Coliseum) to be received by: January 30 (please note you will need to make arrangements to have your items shipped back).

EVENT INFORMATION 



Date:  Wednesday, February 6, 12pm-4pm

Location: Carolina Coliseum, 701 Assembly Street, Columbia, SC 29201

Check-in / Set Up time:  8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Lunch:  To maximize your time with our students, lunch will be available 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. 



PARKING/DIRECTIONS/HOTEL INFO


Parking: Park Street City Garage ONLY (corner of Park and Pendleton Streets). A shuttle will be provided to transport you on EXPO day only.

Passes will be provided at check in. Due to limited spaces, we highly encourage carpooling. Please do not park in other areas as this may result in a ticket or towing.

SHIPPING

 Shipping Items: Please ship items to the Coliseum only by January 30 to:

Return shipping following event: All companies are responsible for return shipment of their items. Please contact your carrier for pickup from the address above. Prepare and attach return shipment labels to items to be shipped via FedEx or UPS. Take items to the designated shipping area which will be clearly posted for pickup. If you are not personally attending the event, we ask that you please provide this information to the appropriate colleague(s) who are.


 

INTERVIEW DAY (February 7, 2019, 8:30am-4:30pm)

INTERVIEW BOOTH REGISTRATION


Answer "yes"/"no" to the order form question "will you be joining us for interviews the following day?"

If "yes", answer following questions about number of booths and lunch attendance

Reserve your space by requesting your interviews in Handshake


IMPORTANT INFORMATION


Interviews will be held 2/7/19 at the Coliseum in a pipe and drape format (2 interviewers/1 interviewee per booth).

Create interview schedules during 8:30am-4:30pm with the students you meet. 

Inform the student of their time and location of interview.

Inform students to arrive for check-in 10 minutes prior.

To allow our staff to arrive and set up for your day, you may check-in beginning at 8:00am.
