This is a 3-day EXPO starting Friday, September 11, at 5PM for a reception at the State Historical Society of Missouri (605 Elm Street, Columbia, MO) and a 6PM film showing “The Trail State” on the Katy and Rock Island Trails from Magnificent Missouri and Once Films.

SATURDAY portion of this EXPO will take place at Cooper’s Landing, and the theme for this day will be:
WATER: Ponds, Streams & Rivers

 Watershed Stewardship and Preservation
 Stream and River Stewardship and Preservation
 Rain Gardening
 Education and Recreation Opportunities
 Missouri Soil and Water Conservation Sales Tax: 2026 Renewal Referendum (if on November ballot)

 SPECIAL ACTIVITIES:
o Family River Education Excursions hosted by Missouri River Relief
o Pony Rides by Blair’s Barn – 10am – 2pm
o Tree-mendous Katy Trail Ride (8.6 miles) – Huntsdale (River Center for Conservation Innovation)
to Coopers Landing – hosted by the Forest and Woodland Association of Missouri
o Portable Sawmill Demonstrations – multiple tree species to be milled – hosted by MDC
o Art Activities in the Morning for Children – hosted by Adrienne Luther Johnson

 LIVE MUSIC:
o The Juicy Beets (jazz) – 2pm-5pm
