Instructor Micah Bias has been in the capoeira game since 2009, when he started training under Carlos Rodriguez (now Contra-Mestre Coqui) right here in Lancaster. When his instructor stepped back from public teaching, Micah didn't — he kept training privately, traveled regularly to Albuquerque, New Mexico to study directly under his Mestre, and earned his own graduations in the Cordão de Ouro lineage.

In 2012, he launched Lancaster Capoeira, building a community from the ground up — weekly classes, college workshops, school demos, and studio events across Central PA — and kept that roda spinning until 2020.

Now he's back. One class. One roda. The same berimbau, the same fire. Whether you've trained for years or you've never thrown a kick in your life — come through.
