Intensive 2 hr workshop.  Summer gets busy and we will share our quick top tips for loose leash walking!

In this class you’ll learn reward based positive reinforcement training strategies and training techniques for getting your dog to walk with a loose leash and focusing on you.

We love to train in real-world settings- on this course you can expect some outdoor classroom based learning and then practice what you learnt. 

We will be focusing on how to get your dog’s attention and how to keep their attention on you with outdoor distractions.  All activities are on-leash only.

Owners will learn the skills to achieve loose leash walking with their dog and at the same time giving the dog opportunities to also be a dog on their walks. 

Leash walking should be fun and a natural way to connect with your dog, being able to enjoy being outside!

Maximum 6 dogs on class.

Topics include:
•	Practicing loose leash walking and heel with a release cue
•	How to use your daily walks as an enrichment tool/sniff walks  
•	Achieve polite greetings with people and other dogs 
•	Shaping attention in a distracting environment

We know summer can get busy so here is an intensive 2 hour workshop! We cover a lot in this workshop.
