A Man and His Career

Most of a man’s waking hours are spent at work. Scripture calls that place a mission field. In this session we will explore how your job, trade, or profession can become a temple of devotion and a lampstand for the gospel, not just a way to get a paycheck. Ephesians 6:5–8 teaches us to work “as to the Lord, not to men.”

We will talk about integrity, excellence, and attitude in a “dog eat dog” marketplace, and how a man can shine as a light in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation. We will also address the frustrations of the modern workplace, job changes, and what it looks like to “bloom where you are planted” while still being open to God’s leading.

If you wrestle with pressure at work, ethical gray areas, or feeling like your job does not matter to God, this night will help you see your career through the eyes of Christ.
