Each summer, staff and volunteers at Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center of Goshen College arrive before dawn to participate in research on the songbirds living and nesting at Merry Lea. Join us to learn how and why bird banding research is conducted.

While we can’t bring live birds, you’ll have the opportunity to see and handle real research equipment and view examples of the kinds of birds studied during this important work.
