About Tanko Law Office;

Tanko Law Office has been helping families in Flathead Valley and across Montana for over 25 years. The law firm was founded by Brian C. Tanko, Esq. on two principles – provide clients with honest, effective legal advice and great customer service. Tanko Law Office is known for providing its clients with excellent legal services in a friendly, neighborhood atmosphere. The firm’s attorneys are experienced and knowledgeable in estate planning, business planning, probate and trust administration, Elder law, guardianship and real estate transactions.  With an increase in demand for their services, Tanko Law Office has expanded to Columbia Falls. Our new office is managed by Montana native and University of Montana alum, Katherine Troiano, Esq. Katherine began her legal career at a boutique law firm in Whitefish where she quickly rose from receptionist to Certified Paralegal. Katherine accelerated her career by attending the Alexander Blewett III School of Law in 2021. Katherine successfully passed the Montana bar exam and is a proud member of State Bar of Montana. Katherine brings nearly two decades of legal experience to the Columbia Falls community and is thrilled to be able to support her friends and neighbors with their estate planning and legal needs.
