Vinyasa Flow is an all-levels class designed to cultivate an integrated and responsive approach to sādhanā, or daily practice, through the intentional sequencing of āsana (postures or, more specifically, seats of Yoga), breath awareness, and focused attention. The Sanskrit term vinyāsa is derived from vi, meaning “in a special, distinct, or intentional manner,” and nyāsa, meaning “placing” or “setting down.” Together, vinyāsa conveys the idea of placing or arranging something with intention. In contemporary Yoga practice, this is expressed through the intentional linking of movement, breath, and āsana into a continuous sequence.

Guided by Jessica or Geoffrey, this offering invites practitioners to explore the relationship between sthira (steadiness) and sukha (ease) as they move through a thoughtfully sequenced practice. Breath serves as a central point of awareness, helping to establish rhythm and continuity between āsana while cultivating prāṇa, or the vital energy associated with breath and life. Emphasis is placed on mindful transitions, intelligent alignment, embodied awareness, and the integration of movement and breath, creating space for both strength and adaptability within the practice.

Whether you are new to Vinyasa or bringing an established practice to the mat, this class offers an opportunity to explore Yoga as a living and evolving practice - one in which each āsana, transition, and breath becomes part of a larger conversation between effort and ease, stability and movement, attention and presence.

Location & Participation:
Beginning in October, Vinyasa Flow with Jessica or Geoffrey will be offered in person at The Well-Worn Soul’s new private studio within Second Floor Studios located above the Michael Garman Gallery at 2418 W. Colorado Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80904. The entrance is off Colbrunn, between Jives Coffee Lounge and the Garman Gallery.

Metered parking is available on Colorado Ave and Colbrunn, with additional FREE street parking on W. Pikes Peak Ave.

When you arrive, head up the stairs to the second floor. At the top, turn right and follow the hallway all the way around until you reach Studio I on the left. We’ll have signs posted to help guide you if needed!
