A VSQG designation limits the type and quantity of waste that can be accepted.Does your entity qualify as a VSQG?VSQGs are any non-houshold organizations. This includes but is not limited to businesses, schools, churches, non-profit organizations, local governments, rental properties, etc. VSQGs can generate no more than 100 kilograms (about 220 pounds) of non-acute hazardous waste, and no more than 1 kilogram (about 2.2 pounds) of acutely hazardous waste in any calendar month, and never accumulates more than 1,000 kilograms (approximately 2,200 pounds) of hazardous waste or 1 kilogram of acutely hazardous waste on-site at one time.
