On **22–23 July 2026**, Amber Laboratory will host **ICFIRE 2026** — the International Conference on Fire Safety and Resilience in the Built Environment at Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall — and we're proud to announce it officially today.

As our cities grow taller, our infrastructure grows more complex, and our climate grows less predictable, the question of how we build — and how safely we build — has never mattered more.

ICFIRE 2026 brings together engineers, architects, fire safety professionals, regulators, policymakers, developers, researchers, and facility managers from across South and Southeast Asia and beyond. Two days. One shared purpose: advancing fire-resilient materials and systems for a safer, more sustainable built environment.

Throughout the conference, we'll explore cutting-edge fire safety engineering, fire protection systems, fire-testing science, independent verification standards, next-generation fireproofing systems, advancements in research and development, and regulatory best practices — culminating in the launch of the **Colombo Declaration on Fire Resilience in the Built Environment (2026)**.
