Get  ready for four days of outdoor discovery, creativity, and adventure!  Our Junior Ranger Summer Day Camp invites young explorers to learn about  the natural world while having fun in the forest. Through hands-on  activities, games, crafts, and guided exploration, campers will build  confidence, curiosity, and a deeper connection to nature.

Junior Rangers will learn:

    Plant identification and how to observe nature

    Forest ecology and watershed basics

    Wildfire awareness and Smokey Bear fire safety

    Water safety

    Geology and the forces that shape our landscape

    Basket making and nature-based crafts

    Ecosystems, habitats, and how living things are connected

    How to keep an observation journal like a real ranger

Each  session ends with a special Junior Ranger Swearing-In Ceremony, where  campers will be officially welcomed as Junior Rangers!

Session Details

Each  session runs from 9:00am - 3:00pm, from Monday to Thursday. The entire 4 day session costs $100 per child for the full session. A  daily snack is provided; campers should bring their own lunch. This  camp is perfect for curious kids who love to explore, create, and learn  outdoors—no prior experience needed, just a sense of adventure! 

 Session Two (Ages 10–12)

July 20 – July 23 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Session Two is designed for older Junior Rangers who are ready to dive deeper into science, stewardship, and leadership. Activities encourage critical thinking, teamwork, and a stronger understanding of how people interact with the environment.

This session emphasizes responsibility, curiosity, and stewardship, empowering older Junior Rangers to understand their role in protecting parks and natural spaces.
