The Wylde Tryfles dig the graves of the most untameable bands in the “Back From The Grave” series, bringing back to life this saturated, distorted and primitive sound which was the nightmare of parents during the 60s and which drove many teenagers crazy in the 80s. Today, in the 21st century, these tribal and visceral rhythms continue to be valid and count on this French band as one of their main values.
Lubna, Francy, Olivier and Dorian have managed to stamp their own revival sound in a very coded and monolithic genre, bringing more class and sensuality which contrasts with the ferocity they display on stage.Over the last ten years they have recorded 3 LPs, all for the prestigious German label Soundflat, the last of them is still smoking and it is a serious candidate for the best garage album of this year 2024;more than enough baggage to take them seriously and put them on the podium of the 60s European garage punkers. Sick followers of bands like The Pandoras, The Cynics or The Shadows Of Knight.

Direkt aus dem Schoß der Kölner Sixties-Untergrundszene stammt das Quartett The Outcrowd. Ihr Sound ist eine Mischung aus Garage, Soul, Punk und Psychedelic – roh, vibrierend und voller Charme. Der singende Drummer wird begleitet von treibendem Bass, klirrenden Gitarren und einer Orgel, die klingt, als wäre sie geradewegs aus einem Kellerclub in Soho entsprungen. Ihre neue EP „Getaway“ steht in den Startlöchern – natürlich wieder bei Off Label Records, wo schon ihre Smash-Hit-Single „Radio 5 / Freakball“ gezündet hat.
Straight from the womb of Cologne’s Sixties underground comes The Outcrowd – a four-piece band mixing raw garage energy with a touch of soul, punk and psychedelia. Their sound is rough, vibrant and full of charm. Fronted by a singing drummer and backed by driving bass, jangling guitars and a swirling organ straight out of a smoky Soho cellar, the band is about to release their new EP “Getaway” – once again on Off Label Records, home to their smash hit single “Radio 5 / Freakball.
