Sunrise Easter Worship

Come worship before sunrise on Easter morning in a service that moves from darkness to first light—from the cross to the empty tomb.

We’ll begin indoors in near-darkness with prayer and music. A new fire and the Christ candle lit as the sanctuary shifts from darkness toward hope.

We’ll reaffirm our baptismal promises (with water and spoken responses), and scripture from Romans 6 about dying and rising with Christ, and then the Easter Gospel from Matthew 27–28.

As we sing our final song, we’ll process outside to greet the first light of Easter morning, with trumpet leading us in “Jesus Christ Is Risen Today” - stepping into the day with the joy of resurrection.
