Indie-Rock

Plörre sind vier Freunde mit Liebe zum Indie und zum Schrammel, zum Ska und zum Rock. Aus anfänglichen Abtasten wurde mehr, bis am Ende 2021 zehn Indie-Perlen und plötzlich mit Lars ein leibhaftiger Bassist im Raum standen. Da einige Woche später ebenso das erste Konzert anstand, beschlossen die Vier einfach eine Band zu sein. Das Ergebnis: begeisternder Blutkrätschen-Indie

 

JUNIOR DAY LEAGUE sind eine Indie Rock Band aus Köln, deren Sound Erinnerungen weckt an den Indie und College Rock der 90er und frühen 00er Jahre, eine Zeit, als sich Bands wie THE GET UP KIDS, THE WEAKERTHANS, STARMARKET, THE LEMONHEADS oder TEENAGE FANCLUB auf längst verschollenen Mixtapes tummelten.

 

God Bless The Monkey Astronaut aus Köln machen Gitarrenmusik – Indie-Rock trifft’s ganz gut. Ihre aktuelle EP entstand in Wohnzimmern, Kellern und einem Proberaum, der mittlerweile liebevoll „Studio“ genannt wird. Zwischen schiefen Mikrofonständern, kaltem Kaffee, ein bisschen Sekt und zu vielen Gesangsspuren ist etwas Schönes passiert: Fünf Songs über Freundschaft, Rückblick und das gelegentliche Scheitern an der eigenen Geduld. Live gibt es diese neuen Songs jetzt zum ersten Mal zu hören - und natürlich auch ein paar alte. Vielleicht sogar was Neues und was Geliehenes.
