Vorsicht! Dieses Album könnte dich verhexen, beißen oder direkt auf die Tanzfläche der Unterwelt zerren. Wenn die Nasty Neighbours eines lieben, dann ist es Retro-Horror. Das neue Album „Horrorísimo!“ ist der Soundtrack dafür: ein Mix aus Surf, Glam, Rotz und einer Prise Wahnsinn. Es klingt, als hätten The Buzzcocks und die B-52s eine
Geisterbeschwörung veranstaltet – und dann spukte dieser Sound durch das Studio der Bandgründer eMon (Gitarrist/Argentinien) und Karina Kaos (Vocals und Keyboard/Deutschland).
Die Songs für „Horrorisimo!!“ komponierten die zwei in einem alten Haus in Buenos Aires, das selbst Stoff für eine Geistergeschichte liefert. „Manchmal hat es sich angefühlt, als hätten wir nicht allein komponiert“, sagt Sängerin Karina. „Das Knacken im Holz, das zufällige Flackern der Glühbirnen. Wenn wir aufhörten, hörte es auch auf. Also spielten wir weiter.“
Mit Surf-Vibes und spooky Melodien sowie einer gehörigen Portion ironischem Horror- Charme haben die Nasty Neighbours ein Album geschaffen, das zwischen B-Movie-Ästhetik, Pop-Punk und Indie-Rock hin- und herflackert. Als die Nasty Neighbours ihr erstes Album herausbrachten („Nastysimo!“/V.Ö. 14.6.2024), musste die Apotheke im Viertel ständig Ohrstöpsel nachbestellen. Nun, kurz vor dem Albumstart von „Horrorísimo!“ (V.Ö. 16.5.2025),
geht dem Gemüsehändler ständig der Knoblauch aus.
Gegründet wurden die Nasty Neighbours von Karina Kaos (Vocals/Keyboard) und eMon (Gitarre). Das Projekt hat Wurzeln in zwei Ländern: Sängerin Karina Kaos (Texte) kommt aus Deutschland, Gitarrist und Produzent eMon (Emilio Rolón) kommt aus Argentinien. Das Album „Horrorisimo!“ erscheint bei Rookie Records (Hamburg) und kommt auch auf Vinyl.
„Nastysimo“-Tour, Juni 2025.: Als Live-Band unterwegs sind Karina Kaos (Vocals/Keyboard) und eMon (Gitarre) als Viererpack mit Lea Almendro (Bass) und Hernán ZombieX (Drums).

The Vageenas spielen coolen, schnörkellosen I want you to be punk-Punk, wie man ihn sich herrlicher und schnörkelloser nicht wünschen könnte!
Gegründet haben sie sich 1994, einige Besetzungswechsel an Gitarre und Bass sowie auch am Schlagzeug gab es seitdem, aber niemals gab es einen Wechsel an der Energie und Spielfreude, die diese Band ausmacht!
Es macht ebenso wenig Sinn, THE VAGEENAS in Worten beschreiben zu wollen wie es Sinn machen würde, Sid Vicious wieder auferstehen zu lassen.
