60's Instrumentals / Surf Rock

Seit ihrem selbstbetitelten Debüt 2018 orientiert sich Humanga Danga an der kalifornischen Surfmusik der 60er-Jahre, um daraus ihren eigenen Stil zu entwickeln. Nicht nur auf den klassischen West-Coast-Sound fixiert, sondern gleichermaßen von frühem europäischem Instrumental-Rock ’n’ Roll, Filmmusik, Western, Chicha und exotischer Folklore beeinflusst, hat die Band aus Gent eine unverwechselbare Stimme in der internationalen modernen Surfmusikszene gefunden. Mit einem starken Fokus auf Songwriting und eingängige Melodien bestätigte Humanga Dangas Nachfolgealbum „Watusi Peak“ von 2022 die kaleidoskopische Bandbreite der Kompositionen – von Exotica bis Spy, von rasanten Rennstrecken-Krachern bis zu gefühlvollen, langsamen Stücken und ausgelassenen Party-Rockern. Dieses Jahr erscheint der erste mit Spannung erwartete Long Player. Über die Band wurde in weltweit führenden Genre-Magazinen (The Continental, Pipeline) berichtet; sie wird regelmäßig in Internetradiosendungen der Szene (u. a. Fiberglass Jungle) gespielt und trat bereits in zahlreichen Clubs und auf Festivals auf. Mit ihrem äußerst abwechslungsreichen und handwerklich exzellent dargebotenen Programm bietet Humanga Danga nicht nur für Genre-Fans erstklassige Unterhaltung.

Egal ob Festivalbühne oder verrauchter Kellerclub, immer gut gekleidet entfesseln sie seit über 20 Jahren energiegeladenen, eingängigen Surf Rock. Mitreißend performen die Jungs ihren Sound bis der Schweiß von der Decke tropft und verwandeln jede Tanzfläche in eine salzige Brandung, in der es ums Überleben geht.
