Über die letzten drei Jahre haben sich Comastatic mit ihrem Sound zwischen melodischem Metalcore, poppigen Post-Hardcore, elektronischen Trap-Texturen und einem modernen Alternative-Rock-Kern international einen Namen erspielt. Das führte das Duo aus Zürich neben Performances auf einschlägigen Festivals wie dem Rock for People und dem The Great Escape Festival zu einem Signing bei Hopeless Records siwue in mehrere Editorial-Playlists auf den digitalen Streaming-Plattformen sowie in die Kerrang!-Charts, die Comastatics Sound längst um die Welt ziehen ließen. Nach Europa-Touren als Support von Red Hook, Nevertel, Melrose Avenue, Ryan Oakes, From Ashes to New und einer aktuellen Tour mit Stand Atlantic wagt das Duo den nächsten Schritt und kommt auf seine erste eigene Headlinetour. Im Februar werden Comastatic in München, Berlin, Hamburg und Köln auftreten.

Was 2022 zunächst als Traum begann, wurde schnell zu einer Vision, die jedem eine Stimme gibt, der im Strom des Alltags gefangen ist. Inspiriert vom Gefühl, mit anzusehen, wie unsere Welt auseinanderfällt und nichts tun zu können, entführt das Duo um Sänger Mattia Di Paolo und Gitarrist Jules ihre Zuhörer in ihre eigene Welt. Eine Welt, in der Chaos auf Verletzlichkeit trifft – gefangen in einem lähmenden Gleichgewicht zwischen Existenz und Reglosigkeit: die Welt von Comastatic. Um ihren Tracks Leben einzuhauchen, reiste das Duo zunächst über 6000 Meilen nach Los Angeles, um mit Produzenten wie Stevie Knight (Stand Atlantic, Yours Truly), Jon Lundin (Fever333, Point North) und Matt Malpass (Blink-182) zusammenzuarbeiten, bevor sie die Band 2023 offiziell gründeten. Nach ersten Singles wie „Artificial Heart“, „back4blood“, „TOXIC ENERGY“ und „FIX IT ALL“ unterschrieb das Duo einen Plattenvertrag bei Hopeless Records, was sie international auf den Schirm brachte. Nach weiteren Singles wie „Zorro“ und Kollaborationen mit Melrose Avenue („24Seven“) und Down And Out („Self Sabotage“) führte es Comastatic ab 2024 in mehrere kuratierte Spotify-Playlists wie Rock Rotation, All New Rock, All New Metal, New Nü und weitere sowie auf Touren mit Red Hook und Nevertel. Mit zweimonatlichen Single-Releases und weiteren Supporttouren hielt das Duo aus Zürich das Momentum durchweg hoch, was im Mai 2026 in der Veröffentlichung ihres Debütalbums „LIVE FAST DIE YOUNG“ kulminierte. Auf den elf Songs des Albums, das die zuvor veröffentlichten Singles aufgreift, kollaborierten Comastatic außerdem mit Mikaila Delgado von Yours Truly („Deja vu“), Point North („PRIMITIVE“) und Ryan Oakes („SWAY[ED]“).
