Zum Abschluss ihres Bachelor-Studiums präsentiert sie nicht nur das Lilith Walkenhorst Quintett , sondern stellt basierend auf dem Quintett erstmalig ein Large Ensemble zusammen. Beide Formationen spielen ausschließlich Eigenkompositionen und Lieblingsstücke der Vokalistin, die sie während ihrer Studienzeit geschrieben oder für sich entdeckt hat. Das Konzertrepertoire reicht von Gedichtvertonungen über Vocalesen bis hin zu Neutextungen von Jazzstandards und schafft dabei Klangwelten, die berühren, irritieren und nachhallen. Sie vereint modernen lyrischen Jazz mit der Möglichkeit, die Stimme als Instrument auch ohne Text zu nutzen, um so mit den anderen Instrumenten zu verschmelzen – nur um im nächsten Moment wieder erzählend in den Vordergrund zu treten. Both formations perform exclusively original compositions and favorite pieces the vocalist wrote or discovered for herself during her studies. The concert repertoire ranges from poem settings and vocalese to new lyrics for jazz standards, creating soundscapes that touch, unsettle, and resonate. She combines modern lyrical jazz with the possibility of using the voice as an instrument without text, merging with the other instruments – only to step back into the foreground as a storyteller in the next moment.
