- **Event Name**: The CODA > Crossroads Festival Concert & Fireworks
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 11 Jul, 2026 at 07:00 pm – Sat, 11 Jul, 2026 at 10:30 pm
- **Event Description**: Some reunions are worth the wait… this one took over 25 years.

For one night only, The Coda is reuniting to help celebrate Colo’s 150th birthday at the Crossroads Festival — marking the band’s first full reunion since 2000! Celebrate with us: old friends, old songs, and one unforgettable summer night under the Iowa sky. And you won't want to miss Shane George's original song about Colo, called The Crossroads, played live by the full band!

Making the night even more special, former lead guitarist John Hunzelman — who played with The Coda from 1993–1994 — is returning to the stage alongside his two sons for a true multi-generational country-and-rock experience.

Expect a high-energy mix of country grit, rock ‘n’ roll attitude, crowd favorites, stories from the old days, and a whole lot of celebration. Add in food and fireworks after the concert, and a full crowd at Hickory Grove Lake, and you’ve got the recipe for a legendary night. And did we mention the music and fireworks are FREE?

If you grew up with The Coda, you already know.
If you didn’t… this is your chance.

Colo only turns 150 once — and this is the can’t-miss event of the summer!
