We believe that Forest School is for everyone!
All ages, all walks of life - everybody! Our new event: Forest Family Fun will be led by qualified Forest School practitioners and will flow along a Forest School approach. This event is for families: children from 0-18 years, and grown-ups get a chance to play out for free too!!
We will gather monthly on the 4th Saturday of each month - if you have been looking for Forest School early years, bring your toddlers along, if you have been looking to do stuff together as a family, this is your perfect opportunity, if you have older children or teenagers looking for some safe independance with chance to explore real, wild woodland, then this is the event for you! Something here for everyone. We are now entering our 3rd year and growing a regular Forest School community as well as welcoming a through put of new faces just looking for the one off experience. Sign up, and you can join our Community Whats App for regular reminders and up dates (people said they needed reminding) - but generally, FFF, is the fourth Saturday each month, right through to December 2026. Come and join us, see what you think!
Did you know that the first principal of Forest School is about being in a woodland setting regularly?
Here at Harwes Farm CIC, we have a magical 36-acre mature, mixed woodland on site, so plenty of space to love!
Forest School Practitioners Lorna Watson & Gill Taylor will be on hand to look after you!
Lorna has a professional background in early years and a passion to see little ones introduced to Forest School; Gill has a professional background in youth work and a passion to see everyone's inner child re-discovered! Between them they can cater for any age to the same end really!
