The experience begins with a meditation led by Paz to come into yourself and your body. Karen will then lead a yoga and movement session tuning into the vibes of the group, while Paz accompanies and supports the experience on the drums and percussion. The class will then ease into a couple of restorative postures where Paz will create healing and soothing sounds as the experience wraps up with a closing meditation.

Karen Steele is a registered massage therapist and movement instructor devoted to emotional and spiritual transformation through the body. She believes in the body's wisdom, and movement as a powerful tool for healing, empowerment and transformation. 

Paz is a lifelong drummer and percussionist with over 20 years of experience in a diverse range of contexts: drum circle leader, ceremonial drumming leader, professional drummer, drums and percussion teacher, and hand percussion player. As a meditation teacher, he has been teaching and guiding weekly meditations in Spanish and English for the past 5 years in person, online, at retreats, festivals and larger events. Paz also creates sound for wellness purposes, so expect him to use a variety of healing sounds to support you in going deeper into this journey.
