including the virtuosic, yet bubbly Jean Françaix quartet, the iconic duo for flute and bassoon by Heitor Villa-Lobos, the Divertimento trio by English composer Malcolm Arnold, and the lyrical and romantic quartet by 19th-century composer Karl Goepfart.

Four of Minnesota's finest musicians will travel to central Minnesota for an exquisite afternoon concert of duos, trios, and quartets for woodwind instruments on Sunday, February 8, 4PM. The concert will take place at St. John’s University’s Stephen B. Humphrey Theater, 2850 Abbey Plaza, Collegeville.

A memorable afternoon of chamber music will be performed by:

Immanuel Davis, flute professor at the University of Minnesota (UMN), soloist, and chamber musician

Christine Soojin Kim, principal oboe of the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, substitute with the MN Orchestra and the SPCO, and faculty at UMN

Sangyoon Kim, principal clarinet of the SPCO and professor at UMN

Fei Xie, principal bassoon of the MN Orchestra and faculty at UMN

Their concert is presented by Chamber Music Society of St. Cloud and the College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University.
