About the event

Volunteer Day: Invasive Plant Pull
Help protect water, wildlife and wild places by volunteering at Lick Creek Park on Saturday, March 14 and April 11, from 9 a.m. to noon. Volunteers will remove invasive plants and harvest native seeds while working alongside members of the Post Oak Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas and the Brazos Valley Texas Master Naturalist to preserve the park’s unique ecosystems and demonstration gardens.

Bring gloves, a water bottle and any preferred garden tools. Certificates are available to document volunteer hours. All activities will take place at the Gary Halter Nature Center.
