Junior Master Naturalist

Ages 7–12 are invited to explore the native ecosystem with local experts, conduct nature experiments and enjoy hands-on outdoor activities while making new friends. Each class focuses on a different part of the natural world, helping young naturalists build curiosity, skills and an appreciation for their surroundings.

Classes will be held Sunday, Feb. 22, March 29, and April 26 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Gary Halter Nature Center.

Participants should dress for the outdoors and wear closed-toe shoes. In extreme temperatures or inclement weather, activities will move indoors.

The cost is $5 for residents and $6 for non-residents.
