This year’s presentations and panels highlight ongoing research happening in the lab. HCIL members will share their work on human-centered AI and NLP, data viz, accessibility, health & well-being, usable privacy & security, ed tech and more.Attend in person to grab your HCIL swag, see all the presentations and panels, and network with other attendees at the poster session and reception. From understanding user needs to developing and evaluating these technologies, the lab’s faculty, staff, and students have been leading HCI research for 40+ years.HCIL is jointly supported by the College of Information Studies (iSchool) and the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies (UMIACS).
