South Fulton Career Center is hosting its very own community hiring expo.

About this Event

Come meet with some of Atlanta's top hiring recruiters. Please dress professionally interviews will take place onsite. This event is open to the public and will also provide a resume writing workshop in case you need some tips on how to make your resume standout. Everyone in attendance will have the opportunity to use the computer lab in the career center, print and fax any job related material.

LaShawn Ragland BSW, MPA, is the Business Service Consultant for WorkSource Georgia Fulton County, WIOA Program. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Clark Atlanta University and went on to further her education at Central Michigan University where she received her Master’s in Public Administration. LaShawn believes in being a servant leader. Servant leadership requires thoughtfulness, care, and proactive planning. Which are principles she uses to guide her day to day task as she navigates the complexities of the Metro Atlanta job market. Since she has been with WorkSource Georgia Fulton she has coordinated numerous community hiring expos and partnered with local schools, businesses, churches and organizations to further the mission of connecting employers to qualified candidates.  -The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is a federally funded program. WIOA funds are available for dislocated workers, low-income individuals & out-of-school youth. The funds are administered specifically through services geared toward helping disadvantaged citizens obtain meaningful employment.
