About the hike:
Stevens Trail is a scenic out-and-back trail with stunning views of the North Fork American River canyon. You’ll get a mix of shaded forest, rocky terrain, and some steeper sections. The full hike is about 7–8 miles round trip with ~1,200–1,600 ft of elevation gain, so it’s a bit of a challenge — especially on the way back up — but totally worth it.
