About our presenter:
Neil Appel is a third-generation farmer who lives and farms outside of Dusty, Washington, with his wife and children. His operation includes wheat, barley, alfalfa, cattle, and sheep. Neil began farming in 2005 using conventional practices, transitioned fully to no-till by 2010, and started experimenting with cover crops about eight years ago. Today, he is pursuing a regenerative, sustainable agricultural model inspired by the philosophies and methods of Gabe Brown. Join us on March 4th to hear about Neil’s journey and innovations in soil health.
