- **Event Description**: In conjunction with our third annual model train show, the Colfax Railroad Museum is holding its first ever photo contest.  Rail enthusiasts are invited to share one (1) photograph of their own work to be voted on by attendees of our annual train show. Images must be taken in Wisconsin or Minnesota within the last 10 years and be of a railroad related subject. First and second place winners will receive $50 and $25 dollars respectively with the top three winners also receiving a free Colfax Railroad Museum hat.  

A 5x7” or larger print may be mailed to PO Box 383 Colfax WI, 54730 or dropped off at the museum no later than September 4th with the winner announced at the conclusion of our train show at 2pm on September 5th, 2026.  A name and phone number must accompany each entry. All images remain the property of the respective photographers and will not be used by the museum except for the purpose of sharing contest results.
