⚜️ RAVENSTONE ABBEY PRESENTS
🎭 Our First Dinner Theatre Event
🍷 A Medieval Christmas Feast with Mead Tasting
🕯️ December 18 | 6:00 — 8:00 PM
📍 501 Cole St., Coleraine, MN
Gather ye, good folk, beneath the glow of candle and hearth, for an evening of mirth, music, and mead to warm the winter soul.
Let the harp’s sweet strings and the laughter of lords and ladies carry thee back to a Christmas long ago.
🍽️ THE ROYAL MENU
🍾 A surprise authentic Hungarian welcome drink shall be served upon your arrival - a spirited toast to begin the night’s feast.
('Isten - Isten' (eshten - eshten), God is God, the old way to say 'Cheers' in Hungarian, this is your secret password to enter:)
🦢 First Course — Pâté de Foie Gras
A decadent opening to your evening: velvety smooth goose liver pâté, rich and refined — a taste fit for lords and ladies alike.
🍄 Second Course — Hungarian Mushroom Soup
A warm and comforting bowl of earthy mushrooms, herbs, caramelized onions, and a whisper of dill — a beloved Eastern European classic.
🐗 Third Course — Civet de Sanglier (Wild Boar Stew)
Our grand centerpiece: tender wild boar, slow-braised in bold red wine and stock. Simmered with Hungarian paprika, juniper berries, thyme, and bay leaves, served with pillowy homemade nokedli (noodles), rustic artisan bread, and whipped butter.
A hearty dish worthy of a medieval king’s table.
🍐 Fourth Course — Belle Hélène (Poached Pears)
A graceful finale: warm poached pears paired with a scoop of Borealis premium vanilla bean ice cream — sweet, delicate, divine.
🍯 With each course, a mead most fine shall be poured — from light and floral to deep and spiced — a tasting journey through the sweetness of the old ways, guided by Meadery Master John Hamilton from White Winter Meadery.
🎭 Costumed Revelers & Interactive Merriment
Be thou guest or jester, knight or maiden, the hall shall be alive with story and song.
🎵 Enchanting Celtic harp music by Sue Horton, weaving silver melodies through the candlelit night.
🏰 A Ticketed Gathering of Limited Seats
Secure thy place before the tables are full, for once the bell of Yule is rung, no more shall enter.
