Lenny Boyce is A Wife, A Mother, A Grandmother, A Friend to All. Now She Needs Us.
If you've ever met Lenny Boyce, you already know- she's one of the good ones. The kind of person who shows up for everybody. The kind of women who gives without being asked, loves without limits and makes you feel like family whether you've known her for 5 minutes or 5 decades.
Lenny was loving wife to Dennis Boyce, a devoted race car driver who lived life full throttle and left his mark on the tracks across Michigan. Together, they built a life rooted in love, loyalty and a deep sense of community. They raised 3 strong daughters, poured their hearts into family, and eventually became proud grandparents- sharing their warmth, wisdom and wild sense of humor with the next generation. When Dennis passed away from cancer, Lenny stood strong for her family and everyone around her , just like she always has.
Now she's facing her own battle: squamous cell carcinoma of the face and lower jaw. She undergoing radiation five days week for the next 6 weeks , and though her spirit remains unshaken, the physical and financial toll is heavy. From the mounting medical bills to basic travel cost to appointments, daily cost , the need is real- and its our turn to show up as a community for her !
