Tibbits Film Series presents "The Great Outdoors"

Chet Ripley, his wife Connie, and their sons arrive at their lakefront cabin in Pechoggin, Wisconsin for a relaxing summer vacation. But those plans are ruined when Connie’s sister and her husband, along with their twin daughters, arrive uninvited. As Chet and his brother-in-law clash over everything from vacation activities to parenting styles, the trip spirals into a series of wild animal encounters, water sports disasters, and family tensions galore. Starring John Candy and Dan Akroyd, this hilarious trip to the Great Outdoors reminds us that there’s always an opportunity to find common ground, and turn a disastrous experience into something memorable.

Tickets for this film are by donation. Doors will open at 1pm for a picnic (hotdogs and chips) for $5 at the door. Concessions, including alcoholic beverages, will be available for purchase. No outside food or drink allowed in the theatre. “The Great Outdoors" is rated PG for strong language and suggestive material. Runtime is 1 hour 30 minutes.
