- **Event Description**: Kids’ Art Rocks! is a program of the Tibbits Foundation that mats and frames student artwork for lease by area businesses for a year. Prior to their lease, artwork hangs in the Tibbits gallery.

The Tibbits art gallery is located on the lower level of the Tibbits Opera House and is open one hour prior to events and by appointment Monday-Friday 9am-5pm by calling (517) 278-6029. 

Prior to 2018, teachers would submit their best work to this program. In 2018, Arts Alive took over the program and opened it up to allow for submission by anyone completing K-12 curriculum. This allows for a broader scope of work from homeschool groups or those attending schools outside of Branch County. All pieces are then judged by a panel of judges and the top pieces are then matted and/or framed along with student bios.

All artwork will be exhibited at Tibbits Art Gallery from May 20 to July 8 with a reception on Tuesday, July 8 from 6-7pm for all artists and their families as well as the general public.

Contest includes prizes & art supply giveaways (must be present at reception in July to win)!
