- **Event Description**: A memorial benefit to honor my uncle Greg Kilian. He was a proud US Army Veteran and had a love of all things outdoors and especially fishing. The goal of this event is to bring people together who share the same passion, and raise money for a great cause, The Outdoor Adventure Foundation Minnesota who provide outdoor adventures to children and young adults with life-threatening illnesses, as well as to combat wounded veterans.

Blast Off: Becker Access
First 10 boats will be able to park directly at Becker Access. Everyone else will need to launch at other landings and boat over to "blast off" spot.

Entry fee: $150 per boat. Limit 2 people per boat. $20 additional for Big Bass. 100% goes towards the winner.

OFFICIAL RULES:

Fishing hours are 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Only largemouth bass and smallmouth bass may be weighed.

A maximum of two anglers per boat is allowed. Anglers may fish solo if preferred, but the entry fee remains the same.

Sign-up order will determine priority for boat launch access at the tournament site. Due to limited capacity at the Horseshoe Chain Boat Launch, once designated boat/trailer parking spaces are filled, remaining participants must park at an alternate location and commute to the blast-off and weigh-in area.

Boat launch order will be determined by a card draw for boats 1–20 as anglers arrive at the access. Launch positions after boat 20 will be assigned in the order anglers arrive.

All anglers are expected to practice good sportsmanship and courtesy on the water. Crowding, cutting off, or otherwise interfering with another competitor is not allowed.

Each team may weigh a maximum of five bass.

All fish must meet a 12-inch minimum length requirement.

A dead fish penalty of 1/4 lb per fish will be deducted from the total catch weight.

A dead fish entered for Big Bass will receive a 1/2lb deduction from its recorded weight.

Late check-in penalty: 1/4lb per minute late.

Teams more than 10 minutes late will be DISQUALIFIED.

Pre-fishing is allowed through July 8. No pre-fishing is permitted July 9–10.

The $150 entry fee must be paid in advance to secure a spot in the tournament.

The optional $20 Big Bass entry may be paid the morning of the tournament.

Once payment is received, cancellations and refunds are not permitted. Exceptions may be considered for medical circumstances with appropriate documentation and are subject to approval by the tournament host. This policy ensures accurate payout calculations for participants and supports the integrity of funds raised for the designated charity. (pre-paid Big Bass can be refunded).

All contestants are responsible for complying with Minnesota boating, fishing, and tournament regulations.

All fish must be kept in a properly functioning aerated livewell during competition.

Tournament staff will provide weigh-in bags with mesh inserts to reduce fish stress and support safe fish handling during weigh-in.

Fish will be brought to the scale in tournament-provided bags, weighed, and transferred to an aerated holding and release process as quickly as possible.

Any fish determined to be short or otherwise not legal for weigh-in will not be counted.

The tournament director reserves the right to inspect livewells, enforce penalties, and make final decisions on any rules disputes.

CHEATING OF ANY KIND WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. YOU WILL BE PERMANENTLY REMOVED FROM THIS TOURNAMENT AND FUTURE TOURNAMENTS AND WILL NOT BE REFUNDED FOR FEES.
