Friends, many of us have seen firsthand the devastating consequences of dam failures at **Blydenburgh Park’s Stump Pond** and **Mill Dam Pond**. These losses underscore how fragile our local watersheds truly are.
To prevent a similar fate for **St. John’s Pond**—and to safeguard its vibrant wildlife habitat—the **St. John’s Pond & Watershed Alliance** is being established. This community-led effort is dedicated to long-term preservation, restoration, and protection of the pond and its surrounding ecosystem.

In the interim, St. John’s Church will hold and transfer all donations directly to the new non-profit until official status is finalized.
