The objective of this outreach event is to bring music and movement into the lives of senior citizens who come to the ANAI (Associação Nacional de Apoio ao Idoso) Day Center in the Baixa by dancing and connecting with them. You do not need any dance experience to join in, just your enthusiasm and willingness to move and chat with the seniors! We will start off with a gentle warm up and some fun exercises with some swing music. Then we will partner up and learn some very simple and easy movements. At the end of the session, we will play some music and dance/chat with our new friends.

O objetivo deste evento é levar a música e o movimento à vida dos idosos que frequentam o Centro de Dia da ANAI (Associação Nacional de Apoio ao Idoso), na Baixa, através da dança e do convívio com eles. Não é necessário ter experiência em dança para participar, apenas o seu entusiasmo e vontade de se mexer e conversar com os idosos! Começaremos com um aquecimento suave e alguns exercícios divertidos com música swing. De seguida, formamos pares e aprendemos alguns movimentos muito simples e fáceis. No final da sessão, tocaremos um pouco de música e dançaremos/conversaremos com os nossos novos amigos!
