On MAY 2nd, 2026, the Town of Cohutta and The Cohutta Celebrates America 250 Committee will host the COHUTTA TOWN FAIR!
We will open the day with a color run, sponsored by the Cohutta Elementary School PTA.
At 11:00 am there will be a parade, so make sure you’re lined up for a great view! So far, our participants for the parade are:
Cohulla Creek High School Band
Northwest Whitfield High School Band
The American Legion
The Gen. Nathanael Greene Chapter of the SAR

Immediately following the parade, the Dalton Whitfield Community Band is set to perform!
Throughout the day we will have carnival type games for the kids, some live demonstrations, a beauty pageant, food trucks, and craft vendors.
There will also be some competitive games for the young at heart, including a watermelon eating contest, three legged races, sack races, and more!
Earlier in the week, submissions for the blue ribbon contests will be judged, and everyone will have the opportunity to view them on Saturday!
There will even be a beauty pageant where we will crown a MISS COHUTTA!
We will end the day with more live music and an awards ceremony!
