500 Days in the Wild

Join us for a special event screening of 500 Days in the Wild followed by a live Q&A with director Dianne Whelan.

Filmed over six extraordinary years, this stunning documentary follows Dianne as she becomes the first person to complete the entire 24,000 km Trans Canada Trail, travelling by bike, canoe, skis, snowshoes and on foot. From vast wilderness to intimate encounters with those who live close to the land, this is a deeply personal and visually breathtaking adventure.

With humour, heart, incredible wildlife cinematography and a soundtrack featuring Joni Mitchell, First Aid Kit, Xavier Rudd and The Tragically Hip, 500 Days in the Wild is an inspiring celebration of resilience, connection and our relationship with nature.
