Lighting Ceremony Parade Presented by ICCU

The Coeur d'Alene Downtown Association is pleased to announce the 33rd Annual Lighting Ceremony Parade, presented by ICCU!

The 2025 parade theme is 'Candy Cane Lane': a sweet, candy-themed parade full of peppermint stripes, gumdrop floats, and gingerbread houses. Transform your entry into a magical winter wonderland where candy comes to life!

Starting at 5 PM, watch as the parade entries light up Sherman Avenue as they bring the holiday spirit to Downtown CDA with marching bands, dancing, music and festive floats! Then gather on The Coeur d'Alene Resort Lawn for carols, and a countdown to a spectacular firework display! At the end of the show, the switch is flipped and over 1.5 million lights brighten the downtown area!
