CDA Canoe and Kayak Club-Skills Day & Picnic
Practice your paddling skills, learn self-rescue techniques, picnic on private Cougar Bay Beach (courtesy of Marty McCain). Bring your own drink and a snack to share. Launch from Blackwell Slough, paddle along Cougar Bay to beach & picnic spot.

Take Hwy 95 south across the bridge over the Spokane River. Turn tight into the Park and Ride Lot located ~half mile from the south end of the bridge. The put-in is ~30 yards from the parking lot down a narrow footpath to the Blackwell Slough.
