ParkFest: Boots and Beats for Our Brave

The Parks Foundation of Broward County and the Parks Special Populations Section are hosting a free special event for families of all ages to honor our Veterans -- ParkFest Boots & Beats for our Brave. ​​The afternoon will include live music from local country band Whisky Six, Food Trucks, and a Kid Zone. Veterans can take advantage of resource tables, play disc golf and fish, watch a pinning ceremony, and more. ParkFest is sponsored by the Parks Foundation of Broward County, the City of Coconut Creek, and Broward County Parks. The Veterans portion is sponsored by the South Florida Institute on Aging, Humana, Care Plus Health Plans, Fishing With America's Finest, Memorial Healthcare System, United Way Broward, Mission United, Youth Environmental Alliance, Broward County Elderly & Veterans Services Division, and Broward County Special Populations Section. Parking is $5/vehicle.
