Inspired by the Florida Master Naturalist program, this youth program takes kids aged 10 to 13 on a journey through Florida’s ecosystems, from the uplands, through freshwater, and to the coast.We will be exploring Florida's wide variety of ecosystems through hands-on activities and field surveys. This camp is perfect for kids who enjoy being outdoors and are interested in learning about our local ecosystems.If you are 10-13 years old and are located in South Brevard, join us for a two and a half day adventure with hands-on activities to learn about three of Florida's unique ecosystemsCamp will run at these times and will be located as follows:03/25/2026 (Wednesday): 1pm-4pm at UF/IFAS Brevard County Extension Offices03/26/2026 (Thursday): 9am-4pm at Turkey Creek Sanctuary03/27/2026 (Friday): 9am-4pm at Barrier Island CenterDrop-off and pick-up will be at the listed times and locations. Please note Wednesday (03/25) will be a half day and drop-off time will be at 1pm this date ONLY.After registering, a follow up email will be sent closer to the event dates with further information regarding meeting locations, dress code, etc.Youth must be ages 10-13 to participate.Space is limited to 20 youth. A waitlist will be available.No refunds will be issued 7 days prior to the camp.NOTE: Classes and events may be canceled at any time due to low registration or other circumstances, with full refunds issued for paid events.
