The Studio of Boris Slutsky: Shostakovich Preludes & Fugues – The Complete Cycle

Join the renowned studio of Boris Slutsky for a remarkable evening celebrating the anniversary of Dmitri Shostakovich with a complete performance of his 24 Preludes and Fugues, Op. 87. This immersive program features Slutsky’s students in a rotating, round-robin style presentation—performed on two pianos nested together for a sonic experience unlike anything you’ve heard before.

This special event will be held at Steinway Piano Gallery of Baltimore and offers a rare opportunity to hear the full cycle in an intimate setting.
