Full Clark Mode Christmas Caroling Ruck! (Cochranton)

Join us for a GORUCK Crawford County event featuring hot drinks, lots of fun Christmas singing and merry company! It is time to bring the Christmas Caroling Series home. Bring a friend and some warm cocoa and come share the Christmas magic with us!

We will be starting at Kovfino and will be touring up and down the streets of Cochranton. This will be a light effort ruck and the emphasis will be on snapping pictures with each other and sharing some Christmas cheer. We should accumulate about 3mi. over the course of the event.

Difficulty: Easy.

Cost: Free.

Children and leashed pets are welcome.

Essentials to bring: Water, appropriate footwear, appropriate clothing for the weather, and a positive attitude.

No ruck? No problem! Walkers are always welcome to join us.

Rucking is a form of physical activity that involves walking with a loaded backpack (or 'rucksack') over various distances and terrains. (Plate carriers and sandbags are also welcome.) A moderate amount of added weight can produce the same stimulus and metabolic benefit as running, while also strengthening your legs and core. Rucking is similar to hiking and is often used as conditioning by backcountry hunters, CrossFitters and those in the military and emergency services.
