Winter doesn’t always slow us down. Often it does the opposite, keeping us moving while quietly wearing us out. As the light returns, many bodies are still holding tension, fatigue, and a sense of bracing.
This guided walking meditation offers a gentle way to re-emerge. Not by pushing into spring, but by letting the body gradually sense more space, warmth, and ease.
Rather than sitting still, we’ll use slow, mindful walking, breath awareness, and guided meditation to support the nervous system as it transitions between seasons. Walking meditation can feel more natural and accessible than seated practice, especially for those who find stillness challenging or who feel more at ease outdoors.
We’ll move at a relaxed, accessible pace through Riverfront Park in Cochrane, allowing time to notice subtle shifts in the body, breath, and environment. We’ll finish gathered around a public fire pit, where you’re invited to warm up, relax, and enjoy artisanal tea and hand-crafted snacks prepared by Chef H.
This is not a fitness walk or a casual meetup. It’s a structured, facilitated meditation experience designed to help you leave feeling calmer and more grounded.
No prior meditation experience is needed.
