Indigenous Traditional Parenting Workshop
Open to Indigenous and non-Indigenous adults (18+)

This two-part workshop offers a meaningful opportunity to explore traditional parenting practices through an Indigenous lens. Rooted in cultural knowledge and sacred teachings, the sessions aim to foster positive traditions and support the well-being of families, communities, and future generations.

• Thursday, November 27 | 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Location: Hybrid – Online via Google Meet and in person at Wazin

• Kinship and Family Traditions
• Rites of Passage and Earning Your Name
• Medicine Wheel Teachings and Exercises
• Personal Goal Setting and Wellness Models
• Breathing and Self-Care Practices

This workshop is designed to share the gifts of spirit and sacred Indigenous knowledge, supporting the holistic wellness of self, family, community, land, spirits, and ancestors.
